Welcome to meetsophia.de, the ultimate love letter to our most favourite person: Sophia.
Sophia is our sister, daughter and friend who we love and miss so much. She passed away in May 2017 at 21 years old and left a big empty space behind. Losing a loved one is hard and sometimes the best thing you can do is talk about them. Sophia was a lovely person who brought sunshine into our lives every day and we’d like you to meet her too.
Have a look around and discover her photography, her favourite strawberry cake recipe and everything else she would have shared with you if you met her today.

The Sticker Project

Usually when you’re 21 years old you have your whole life ahead of you to meet new friends, see the world and make new experiences. When Sophia’s life was cut short, Sophia’s younger sister Clara came up with the sticker idea to leave behind a colourful reminder of her sister wherever she would go.
Clara was planning to move to Berlin for university in 2018 and Sophia was supposed to be the first visitor in her big city apartment. Sophia never got to see Berlin but the first sticker was placed there. Sophia was never there, but we were and we were thinking of her.
Since then over hundreds more have been left not only by Sophia’s friends and family but also many kind people who help us keep her memory alive. If you’d like to be a part of the project, send us a message on Instagram!
